Yesterday, SHC of Terre Haute combined Employee Appreciation Day with some resident activities. The Terre Haute Rex, a developmental baseball team, came out to the facility to celebrate with us. The team split up into groups and hit all areas of the facility, including the Alzheimer’s Unit and Serenity Unit.
We had staple ball park treats available for everyone – hot dogs, popcorn, and cracker jacks. The group started off yesterday morning at 9:00am to visit with the morning shift CNAs and cooked throughout the day. We finished off the night by having 60 employees and family members attend the Rex game for Signature HealthCARE Night. The “blue man” mascot was wearing our logo and the employees were wearing out T-shirts we handed out during Nursing Home Week.
